Dr. Wu's fascination with preventive care started at a young age, having grown up around her father's own small-town hospital in Taiwan. Focused on her lifelong dream, she earned her Doctorate Degree from the top-ranked Southern California College of Optometry in 1997.
Working alongside acclaimed ophthalmologists in Orange & Riverside County, Dr. Wu fine-tuned her talent in the diagnosis & treatment of ocular diseases, plus contact lens Fitting. Board-certified in TPA (Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents), Dr. Wu familiarizes herself with each of her patients' eye health, focusing on the early illness-detection thereof. Patients love the transparent her.
After years of supervising a staff of twenty-two as the clinic Director of Newport Beach Laser Eye Center, Dr. Wu realized her goal of opening her own Practice. Over the years, Dr. Wu's trained, dedicated staff embraces and exercises her Motto: thorough patient-care & friendly optical-dispensing.
Surely, customer's word-of-mouth advertising contributes to Dr. Wu's Optometry's quick expansion. Currently, a staff of 9 devotes to a full-range of services including one-hour* Lab, 7-day Business Hours, eye-health education, and the latest in CRT and Ortho-K.
Finally, Dr. Wu's expectation for all-around excellence prompted her to co-manage with TLC's famed surgeon Dr. Thomas Tooma, a recognized Laser-correction leader. Together, the complete pre- & post-operative care is indicative of "quality eyecare for life".
