Moved to Irvine in 1981, she attended Irvine’s middle school and then onto University High school. Working alongside acclaimed ophthalmologists in Orange & Riverside County, Dr. Wu further her skills in the diagnosis & treatment of ocular diseases, plus challenged contact lens Fitting. Board-certified in TPA (Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents) and in Glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Wu familiarizes herself with each of her patients' eye health, focusing on the early illness-detection thereof. Dr. Wu also has a special interest in Orthokeratology therapy involving corneal reshaping and myopia control.
After years of supervising a staff of twenty-two as the clinic Director of Newport Beach Laser Eye Center, Dr. Wu realized her goal of opening her own Practice. Over the years, Dr. Wu's trained, dedicated staff embraces and exercises her Motto: thorough patient-care & friendly optical-dispensing.
Surely, customer's word-of-mouth advertising contributes to Dr. Wu's Optometry's quick expansion. Currently, a staff of 9 devotes to a full-range of services including one-hour* Lab, 7-day Business Hours, eye-health education, and the latest in CRT and Ortho-K.
Finally, Dr. Wu's expectation for all-around excellence prompted her to co-manage with NVision's famed surgeon Dr. Thomas Tooma. Together, the complete pre- & post-LASIK care is indicative of "Quality Eyecare for a Lifetime".
